Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - August 24, 1991

Sarah Elizabeth Edgerton of the 2500 block of Waverly Way, died Aug. 13, 
1991, in her home.
Mrs. Edgerton was born in Ahoskie. She was the widow of Ford Edgerton.
Survivors include two daughters, Hazel Capell of San Diego, Calif., and Rita 
Hitchman of Norfolk; two sons, Earlylee Person and Amos Person, both of 
Norfolk; a sister, Mary Jones of Virginia Beach; 35 grandchildren and 29 
great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by Bishop Jesse Featherston Sr. Family and friends will assemble at 
10:45 a.m. at graveside. Metropolitan Funeral Home is handling arangements.
