Norfolk - Funeral services were held Friday, June 12, at Union Christian Church
for Mrs. Fannie Branch Edmonds, 29-year-old mother of three children, who died
June 9 in a local hospital after a brief illness.

The Rev. C. E. Griffin, of First Calvary Baptist Church, was in charge of the
services, assisted by the Rev. G. P. Jenkins, pastor of Union Christian.

Mrs. Edmonds, a native of Norfolk, born March 24,1924, was the daughter of Alex
Branch and the late Mrs. Fannie Branch whom she followed in death by seven
months. At the time of her passing, Mrs. Edmonds was financial secretary of the
La Vogue Social Club.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred Edmonds, three daughters, Harriette,
Alfreda and Juanita; four sisters, four brothers and numerous other relatives.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
