Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday October 3, 1946
William George Edmonds, 66, died at the residence, 321 West Thirty-sixth 
Street, yesterday at 7:30 a.m.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Edna Wilkins Edmonds, Mr. Edmonds is survived by a 
daughter, Mrs. Daniel G. Etheridge; three sons, Walter W.G., P. Lawrence and 
Frederick H. Edmonds; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah H. Shilson and Miss Florence 
R. Edmonds, and eight grandchildren, all of Norfolk. Mr. Edmonds was a 
native of Norfolk and a member of the Congregational Christian Temple.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home 
tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
