Norfolk Journal and Guide, Dec 8,1962
Mrs. Susan J. Edmonds of 42 Appomattox street, was given final rites Thursday at 
Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

The Rev. R. T. Adams officiated at the rites.  Interment was in Mt. Olive 
Cemetery with Pretlow Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Tillery, NC, and a member of Mt. Zion Church, Mrs. Edmonds is 
survived by two sons, Roger Edmonds of New Haven CT and St. Augustine Edmonds of 
Norfolk;  a sister, Mrs. Rodilla Jackson of Norfolk;  and two grandchildren.
