Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, July 19, 1992 
Elizabeth Edmonds, of the 300 block of Hollister Ave., a retired presser, died
July 16, 1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Edmonds was born in Norfolk. She retired from Liberty Cleaners after 19
years and was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Annette Jordan, and four sons, Clease Edmonds,
Joseph Edmonds, Jessie Green and Henry Edmonds, all of Norfolk; three sisters,
Ruth Lassiter of Ahoskie, Rebecca Ford of Riverside, Calif., and Gertrude
Mitchell of Landover, Md.; two brothers, Moses Smith of New York and Alfred
Smith of Washington; and 10 grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1p.m. Tuesday in Mount Carmel Baptist Church by
the Rev. Clarence Russell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join
the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
