 The funeral of Mr. Joseph Edmonds took place yesterday at 3 p.m. from the 
Christadelphian Hall with a large number of his friends present to pay him 
their last tribute of respect. The following were the pall-bearers: Messrs. 
J.F. Dozier, William Owens, Charles W. Carhart, William Arndt, William Walker, 
and Robert Henly. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. M.M. Reid 
conducted the funeral services. 



 The obsequies of Mr. Thomas East, who departed this life at his residence, on 
Corprew avenue, Brambleton Ward, Friday night, were held from Trinity M.E. 
Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. Lloyd 
T Williams, pastor. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
