NORFOLK — Mrs. Katharine Bedout Edmonds, 62, of 1240 Westover Ave. died in a 
hospital Wednesday.
She was a Norfolk native and lifelong resident of this area.
She was the widow of Raymond O. Edmonds and a daughter of Edward T. and Mrs. Sally 
Hudgins Bedout.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a retired teacher of 
Norview Elementary School.
She is survived by two sisters. Mrs. Madeline B. Chesson of Miami, and Mrs. Mary 
Margaret Campbell of Norfolk.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Friday at 7:30 p.m.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Saturday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
