Princess Anne - Mrs. Mary Edney of Route 3, Princess Anne County, died Saturday 
in her home after a short illness.

A native of Princess Anne County, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. 
Daniel Fuller and the widow of Lucullus Edney.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses.

Surviving are four sons, Leon Edney, Lucullus Edney Jr. and Roland Edney of 
Princess Anne County and Bernard Edney of Portsmouth; two daughters, Mrs. Louise 
Shaw of princess Anne and Mrs. Geraldine Ellis of Portsmouth; and three sisters, 
Mrs. Hattie Wilson and Mrs. Vercie Caffee of Princess Anne and Mrs. Homie A. 
Sapp of Philadelphia.

The body was taken to Hairston's Funeral Home, Virginia Beach. A funeral service 
will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in St. Mark A.M.E. Church, Oceana, by the 
Rev. J.H. Ridley. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
