Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, August 2, 1990 
Disie Edwards, 75, of the 1000 block of Hampton Blvd., a retired waitress, died 
July 17, 1990, in a hospital. 
Mrs. Edwards, a native of Pikeville, Ky., was also a former shopkeeper at the 
Norfolk Naval Shipyard. She was a Baptist. 
Survivors include a daughter, Polly Osmond of Norfolk. 
The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Magnolia Cemetery 
by the Rev. D.O. Dameron. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, 
is handling arrangements.
