 Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday September 27, 1936
Mrs. Margaret Topping Edwards, aged 56, wife of W. Howard Edwards and 
daughter of the late Charles W. and Mrs. Sarah V. Topping, a native and 
lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 8:45 o'clock yesterday morning at a 
local hospital.  Mrs. Edwards resided at 810 Holt street.  Besides her 
husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James B. Francis, Jr.; five 
grandchildren, Misses Sarah M. and Mary Ann E. Francis, James B.Francis, 3d, 
R. Corprew and Oscar Edwards Francis; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah V. Fatherly 
and Mrs. Charles F. Bernard, all of Norfolk, and Miss Dora Topping, of New 
York City, and several nieces and nephews. 
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East 
Freemason street, to St. Mary's Catholic Church for services Monday morning 
at 10 o'clock.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
