The Virginian Pilot Thursday September 6, 1984
Ellen Lee Edwards, 89, a native of Norfolk, died Wednesday in her home at 
261 E. 40th St.
Mrs. Edwards had retired from Lawrence Page Realty as a secretary. She was a 
member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Daughters of the Kings and a 
circle of Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. She was a charter 
member of Riverview Garden Club.
Survivors include two sisters, Lillian Estella Watson and Beulah Maria 
Sutton, both of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Episcopal Church of the 
Ascension by the Rev. Richard J. Risser. Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
The family will be at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 
7:30 to 9 p.m. today and at the Sutton residence. Memorial donations may be 
sent to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
