Norfolk - Funeral services for William H. “Pop” Edwards, of 306 W. 15th 
street, will be held Sunday, June 14 at 1:30 in Mt. Hermon Baptist Church with 
the Rev. James Powell officiating.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with 
Riddick Funeral Service in charge.

A native of Windsor, VA, he was a son of the late Seavird and Mrs. Martha 
Edwards and the husband of Mrs. Blanche C. Edwards.

A member of St. Mark Congregational Christian Church, he is survived by his 
wife;  four daughters, Mrs. Josephine Wilkins of Chesapeake, Mrs. Hazel Lewis 
and Mrs. Gladys Edwards, both of Norfolk, and Mrs. Rosa Jamison of Richmond 
CA;  and 13 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.
