Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch March 8, 1920
Miss Martha Edwards died last night at the residence of her niece, Mrs. C. A. 
Mears, 218 W. Seventeenth street, in her 76th year. She was born in Norfolk and 
lived in this city all her life. She had a host of friends and leaves the 
following nieces: Mrs. C. A. Mears and Mrs. C. W. E. Harris, of Norfolk, and Mrs. 
Frank Hollowell, of Ocean View.
The funeral takes place at 3 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday). Burial in Elmwood.
