NORFOLK - Paul A. Edward of 715 Johnson Ave., a native of Orange County, N.C., 
and the husband of the late Mrs. Rose Edward, died Thursday in a hospital.

He was a maintenance employe for Rock Haven Apartment in Ghent 40 years. He was 
a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a former usher.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Sarah A. Williams of Norfolk and Mrs. Ann M. 
Couch of Durham, N.C., and three brothers, Ralph R. Edward of Florida, Roy R. 
Edward of Chapel Hill, N.C., and James J. Edward of Baltimore.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. 
in Antioch Baptist Church by the Rev. I. Jospeh Williams. Burial will be in the 
Family plot of Calvary Cemetery.
