The Virginian-Pilot, Monday, August 14, 1961

NORFOLK - Duke Edwards, 46, 200 W. 26th St., died Friday in a Norfolk hospital after
a short illness. He was a native of Detroit.

The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home. A funeral service will be
conducted in Antioch Baptist Church Tuesday at 7 p.m. by the Rev. J.W. Matthews,
pastor, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
