Sunday, at 10:20 p.m., there passed away Mrs. Arinthia Thomas Scott Edwards, 
wife of Mr. Walter A. Edwards, of the Public Ledger, after a painful illness of 
over two months, aged 42, at her residence, No. 122 Holt Street. Mrs. Edwards 
was a lady of shining Christian graces which found expression in earnest effort 
in every worthy cause. She had long been an active member of the Freemason 
Street Baptist Church. The Boys' Home and like institutions found a warm place 
in her heart, and toward their success she yielded her best effort. The funeral w
will take place from the Freemason Baptist Church Wednesday morning at 11 o
o'clock.
The managers of the Norfolk Retreat for the Sick will meet in the lecture room 
of Freemason Street Baptist Church (Wednesday) at 10:30 o'clock to attend the 
funeral of Mrs. Walter Edwards. Seats will be reserved in the church for them.
