ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - Dr. Rosaline M. Edwards of Route 4, chairman of Elizabeth 
City State University’s Department of Education, died Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in 
Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.
A native of New York, she was a daughter of Mrs. Filomena DeGregorio and the late 
Carmene DeGregorio and the widow of William Edwards.
She was a Catholic.
Besides her mother, she is survived by a sister, Dr. Anne M. Henderson, and a 
brother, Dr. Vincent DeGregorio, both of Elizabeth City.
A Requiem Mass will be said Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church 
by the Rev. John O'Brian. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Norfolk. 
Twiford Memorial Chapel has charge.
