Mr. George M. Edwards

The funeral of this aged gentleman, whose death has been noted, was held from 
the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. J.S. Groves, No. 115 Lovitt Avenue, 
Brambleton, at 11 o’clock yesterday morning. The services were conducted by 
Rev. A. Coke Smith, D.D., of Epworth M.E. Church, assisted by Rev. Dr. J.J. 
Hall, of the Park Avenue Baptist Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. 
The obsequies were attended by Norfolk Lodge, No. 1 A.F. and A.M. Following 
were the pall-bearers: Messrs. George H. Dawes, S.J. Kennedy, C.S. Stephens, 
D.P. Blount, J.M. Taylor and Howard Lloyd.
