Frank Leigh Edwards Sr., a native of Norfolk, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998, at
the McGuire Veteran's Hospice of Richmond where he had retired after six years
as a medical clerk.

Survivors include his mother, Annie Brown Edwards; a son, Frank Leigh Edwards
Jr. of Upper Marlboro, Md.; daughters, Alexei Edwards Norris of San Diego,
Calif., Mia Edwards of Baltimore, Md.; three brothers, Ernest G. Edwards Jr. of
Chesapeake, Fredrick S. Edwards of Houston, Texas, Robert Brown Edwards of
Norfolk; a sister, Ruby Edwards Watkins of Richmond; son-in-law, Danny Norris;
and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Ernest G. Edwards Sr.

A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Cemetery by the
Rev. Kenneth J. Watkins Sr. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
