Egerton, relict of the late George S. Egerton, passed suddenly away at her home, 230 North Park Avenue, at one o'clock a.m. yesterday from heart disease. She had been in feeble health for some months. She was seized with sudden illness Wednesday night and lived but a short time after the attack. The deceased was born in St. John's, New Brunswick, but had been a resident of Norfolk for fifty years. At the time of her demise she was in the 69th year of her age. She was widely known and universally loved in the community for her many endearing traits of character. Her death will bring deep sorrow to the hearts of her many friends who knew her only love. She is survived by one son, O.J. Egerton, of Norfolk and two daughters, Mrs. T.J. Anderson of Houston, Texas and Mrs. John B. Maher of Washington, D.C. The deceased was also the mother-in-law of James W. Long of Norfolk. *************************************************************************** EGERTON — Suddenly, at the residence, No. 230 N.
