NORFOLK — Mrs. Frances Nash Egerton, 73, a lifelong resident of Norfolk and the 
widow of William Parker Egerton, died Monday morning in a hospital.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, William Parker Egerton Jr. of Virginia Beach; two 
sisters, Mrs. Hal Pope Costolo of Lynchburg and Mrs. Rogers Dey Whichard of 
Norfolk; two brothers, William L. Nash of New York and C. Albert Nash of Richmond; 
and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at noon in H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments by the Rev. Raymond A. Barton and the Rev. Joseph W. Pinder. Burial 
will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family will be at 1215 Hampton Blvd.
