VIRGINIA BEACH — William Parker Egerton Jr., 51, of 3157 Inlet Road, the husband 
of Mrs. Martha Hill Egerton and a Norfolk native, died Monday in his home.
He was a lifelong area resident and was a sales representative of Old Dominion 
Paper Co.
He attended Belmont Abbey and was a graduate of the University of Virginia.
Other survivors include two daughters, Misses Macy Willis Egerton of Dallas, Tex., 
and Melissa Bancroft Egerton of Virginia Beach; and a son, William P. Egerton III 
of Virginia Beach.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, for a funeral 
today at 2 p.m in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Joseph W. Pinder. The 
family asks that flowers be omitted and memorial donations may be made to Ocean 
Park Rescue Squad.
