Norfolk Journal and Guide, Apr 28,1962
Willie Eggleston of 546 Nicholson street, who retired after 25 years as a 
shipping clerk with Western Electric Supply Company, will receive a funeral 
service Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

The Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter, pastor of Bethlehem Church, officiated at the 
service.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Morning Glory 
Funeral Home.

Mr. Eggleston died April 21 in a Norfolk hospital.  He is survived by a 
grandson, Donald Hayden of Norfolk;  and two sisters, Miss Della Eggleston and 
Mrs. Blanche Chavis, also of Norfolk.
