He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Anne Eggleston; three daughters, Mrs. R.B. Moore, of Newport News and Mrs. J.H. Nininger and Mrs. Pearl E. Shelton, of Norfolk; a son, Aubrey L. Eggleston; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Eggleston was a native of New Kent County, but had been a resident of Norfolk for the last 30 years. He was a member of McKendree Methodist Church and Merrimac Tribe of Red Men. Mr. Eggleston was widely known and until three months ago was actively engaged in the management of his grocery store in Brambleton. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. **************************************** William Thomas Eggleston - Funeral services for Mr. Eggleston will be conducted at McKendree Methodist Church this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. A.P. Williams, pastor of the church and the Rev. George Wesley Jones, presiding elder of the Norfolk district, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
