The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Wednesday September 17, 1952
Arthur D. Eggleston, 63, of 204 Patrick Street, Berkley, died yesterday at 
12:20 p.m. in a Norfolk hospital after an illness of two years.
A native of Canton, Pa., he had lived here six years. He formerly was employed 
by the Remington Typewriter Company, of Ilion, N.Y.
He was the son of Austin and Mrs. Hannah Hawkins Eggleston, and husband of the 
late Mrs. Purdie Eggleston. Surviving are two nephews, Rodley C. Appleton and 
Albert D. Appleton, both of Norfolk.
The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley.
