Published in the Norfolk Virginian Tuesday June 25,1895
Mr. Charles Egts' funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock from his 
late residence, No. 471 Church street, and was conducted by Rev. Dr. Howerton, 
of the First Presbyterian Church. The Odd Fellows turned out to pay a last 
tribute of respect to a deceased brother. The interment was in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
