Norfolk Virginian Friday August 16, 1889 

                        Death of Mr. Henry C. Egts     

This young gentleman, who had a host of friends in this city, died suddenly at 
Ocean Shore Park Hotel Wednesday night, where he was employed at his trade. The 
deceased was a son of Mr. Charles Egts, was about 22 years of age, and a young 
man exceedingly popular with all who knew him. The cause of his death is thought 
to be heart disease, as he had not complained of being unwell up to the time of 
going to bed. His remains were brought up to the city yesterday for interment.

EGTS - Suddenly, at London Bridge, Princess Anne County, Va., Thursday, August 
15th, at 2 o'clock a.m., HENRY C., third son of Charles and Margaret Egts, aged 
22 years.
Funeral will take place from the residence of parents, No. 271 Church Street 
THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON at 2 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances respectfully 
invited to attend.
