Mrs. Janie Eason Howell Elderberry died at her residence, 923 Berkley avenue on 
Oct. 8. Funeral services were held at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Oct. 11 with 
the pastor, the Rev. P. L. Harvey, officiating. Mrs. Elderberry is survived by her 
husband, son, and two daughters.

Interment was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery on Oct. 12 with the Chatman Funeral Home 
in charge.
