Norfolk Journal and Guide,Sept 27,1947
Joseph Eley - Funeral services for Mr. Eley, 826 Wood street, who died at a
local hospital Sept. 20, were held from Hale Funeral Home Sept. 23, with the
Rev. C. D. Ellis officiating. Mr. Eley is survived by his daughter, Mrs.
Margaret Jones of New York City. Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery.
