Anthony Eley Jr., 57, 1319 Johnston road, Oakwood, died April 30 at a local
hospital. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Eley Sr., and was a
native of Ahoskie, NC. Mr. Eley resided in Norfolk 35 years.

He is survived by Mrs. Ethel Eley of Brooklyn, NY, two daughters, Miss Lorrain
Eley and Mrs. Cecelia Houghton of Brooklyn.

Funeral services were conducted May 5, at 2 p.m. at the Union Christian Church
by Rev. Z. P. Jenkins, pastor. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral
Home in charge.
