Ellington, wife of Mr. William A. Ellington, died yesterday afternoon, at 4:30 o'clock, at her home on Berkley avenue, near the intersection of Sixth street, after an illness of several months, suffering from a complication of diseases. The deceased was 60 years and 2 months old, and had been a resident of the town many years, in which she was well known and respected. She leaves a grief-strickened husband, five daughters and a son. The daughters are: Mrs. George Youre, Mrs. C.V. Parker, Mrs. George Herbert, Mrs. Nannie Asble, Mrs. Willie Brantley and the son is Mr. Morris K. Ellington, all of whom are residents of this section. The funeral will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock, Rev. C.V. Parker officiating, assisted by Rev. Herbert Scholz, pastor of Main Street Church. The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. *************************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. W.A. Ellington, whose death was noted in yesterday's issue of this paper, was conducted from the family residence in Berkley avenue, near the intersection of Sixth street, yesterday afternoon at 6:30 o'clock. Rev. C.V. Parker, a son-in-law of the deceased, conducted the funeral, assisted by Rev. Herbert Scholz, the latter pastor of Main Street Christian Church. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. The deceased was born and reared in Petersburg, Va., but has been a resident of the town more than thirty years. She was a communicant of Main Street Christian Church.
