Norfolk - Willie Albert Elliott, 53, died recently in a local hospital after a
short illness.

He was a resident of 2711 Corprew avenue. The South Mills, NC, native was the
son of Gertrude W. Elliott. He was employed by A&P Potato Co., and was a member
of Garrett's Community Church, where the funeral was held. The Rev. James A.
Askew officiated, with interment in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
