Funeral services for Miss Gladys Elliott, 18, of 2411 Reservoir avenue, who 
died at her home on Wednesday, November 11, were held at Hale’s Funeral Chapel 
on November 18, with the Rev. A. L. Scruggs, pastor of St. Mark Community 
Church, officiating.  A native of Hampton VA, the deceased had lived in 
Norfolk for the past six years.  She is survived by her mother, a sister, and 
other relatives and friends.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
