ELLIOTT, ROBERT EDWARD SR. — At a local hospital, Saturday, March 30, 1957, at 
4:30 a.m., ROBERT EDWARD ELLIOTT SR., the husband of Mrs. Esther Styron Elliott 
and son of the late George A. and Mrs. Anna Bishop Elliott, in the 77th year of 
his age. The body will be taken from the Cox Funeral Rome, 631 Westover Ave., 
corner Manteo Street, to the Colonial Avenue Methodist Church for funeral services 
THIS (Monday) AFTERNOON, April 1, 1957, at 2:00 o'clock. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state 
one hour prior to the service.
