Odell A. Elliott 104, passed away peacefully at home on 3 August 2021. He was 
preceded in death by his parents Richard and Emma Elliott, his wife Josephine 
Elliott and second wife Minnie Parker; brothers, Richard Elliott and Julius 
Roundtree; sisters, Emma Bembery, Pearla Elliott, Patty Elliott, Birda Elliott, 
Mable Roundtree and Minerva Roundtree.

Odell leaves to cherish his memory five daughters, Arnell Elliott, Irene Elliott, 
Deborah and husband David Jackson, Beatrice Ramey, and Gwendolyn Lieteau; 13 
grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren; one 
special long-time friend and caregiver: Katherine Z. Taylor; and a host of nieces, 
nephews, cousins, and friends. His memorial service will be held on Tuesday 10 
August 2021, at Second Calvary Church, 2940 Corprew Ave., Norfolk, VA 23504. In 
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Second Calvary in his name.
