The Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 21, 1937

Mrs. Mary E. Elliott, aged 53 years, wife of Thomas E. Elliott, and daughter of M
Michael and the late Mrs. Theresa Fellers Kelly, died yesterday afternoon at 4 o
o’clock at a local hospital. Mrs. Elliott was a native of Roanoke, and had been a
a resident of Norfolk for the past 31 years. She was a registered nurse, a g
graduate of St. Vincent’s Hospital Training School and resided at 623 West O
Ocean View Avenue. She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Elliott; her f
father, Michael J. Kelly, of Roanoke, and Mrs. Alva W. Campbell, of M
Mooresville, N.C.; two brothers, Patrick J. Kelly, of California, and John K
Kelly, of Kansas City, Kansas. Remains were removed to H.D. Oliver’s Funeral A
Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements.
