Norfolk - Jerusalem Baptist Church was the setting of eulogy services for 
Mrs. Nannie B. Ellis, who passed awy August 28 in her home.

A retired schoolteacher, she was a native of Caroline County, and the 
daughter of the late Robert and Mrs. Elizabeth Montique Beverly, and the 
wife of Rev. Clifton D. Ellis.

She was a member of the Senior Missionary Society, the Ways and Means 
Organization of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Queen Esther Eastern Star Chapter, 
and St. Delight Tents Chapter No. 50.

Among the survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Wellman of Norfolk;  
andone sister, Miss Adele Beverly of Philadelphia, PA.

Rev. T. M. Venable presided over the services.  Burial was in the Calvary 
Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
