The Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 12, 1945
A. Gray ELlis died yesterday morning at a local hospital at
8:35 o'clock. He was the son of the late Henry and Ellen Ellis. He resided at 
115 Hardy Avenue, Berkley. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Ethel Ellis, he is 
survived by five children, Miss Gladys and Gray Ellis, Mrs. F. Schaeffer, Jr., 
Miss Ann Ellis and John Leigh Ellis, and one granddaughter.
He was a member of St. Bride's Episcopal Church.
The body was taken to Williams Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where services will 
be conducted Monday at 3 o'clock p.m.
