Norfolk Ledger Dispatch January 4, 1963
 
Alexander Earl Emanuelson, 72, of 1641 Ashland Ave., Norfolk, retired Virginia 
Electric & Power Co. employe with 50 years of service, died Wednesday in Wilson, 
N.C.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a son of Charles Oscar and Mrs. Roma 
Frances Emanuelson. 
He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eunice Wilkinson Emanuelson of Norfolk; a 
daughter, Mrs. Norma Emanuelson Rogers of South Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. R. 
Keck of Norfolk and Sister Charles Vincent of Sisters of St. Francis, Niagara 
Falls, N.Y.; and three brothers, Edward F. Emanuelson and Raymond A. Emanuelson 
of Norfolk and Belford J. Emauelson of Riviera Beach, Fla.
A funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church Saturday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.

EMANUELSON, ALEXANDER EARL — At Wilson, N.C., Wednesday, January 2nd, 1963, at 
10:05 p.m., ALEXANDER EARL EMANUELSON, husband of Mrs. Eunice Wilkinson 
Emanuelson, and son of the late Charles Oscar, and Mrs. Roma Frances Emanuelson, 
in the 73rd year of his age. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments to Christ the King Catholic Church for a funeral service SATURDAY 
MORNING at 10 a.m. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. 
Mary's Cemetery.
