VIRGINIA BEACH — Elaine B. Emanuelson, 81, of 2136 Windward Shore Drive, a native 
of Richmond and the widow of Raymond A. Emanuelson, died Sunday in a hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy E. Joynes of Portsmouth; a son, Raymond A. 
Emanuelson Jr. of Virginia Beach; a brother, Horace E. Burnett of Virginia Beach; 
seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Laskin Road, by the Rev. Robert L. Morris Jr. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
