Kenneth Paul Emery, 85, passed away at home on December 26, 2023.
He was born in Windber, Pennsylvania in 1938 to Theresa "Rose" and Paul Emery.
He had an accomplished career in the United States Navy, retiring as a chief. 
Following his service to his country, he enrolled in a local college and 
obtained a degree in communications. He loved to play golf and loved to assemble 
things, such as a full stereo set in his youth.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen; his sister, Paula Armitage; brother, 
William Emery; and by his extended family, including his beloved nieces, 
nephews, and siblings-in-law. He is also survived by his faithful companion, his 
pet Jaxon.
He is predeceased by his parents, Rose and Paul; his son, Kenneth Paul Emery, 
Jr.; and his siblings, Robert and Lawrence Emery.
A funeral mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 
2, 2024, at 11:00 AM. There will be a visitation for friends and family one hour 
prior to the service at the church. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic 
Cemetery.
In honor of his love for animals, the family has requested that, in lieu of 
flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA.
