Virginian-Pilot August 10, 1942
EMORY, VAIDEN WESLEY, of 118 Nelms avenue, Fox Hall, at a local hospital, Saturday 
afternoon, August 8, 1942, at 3 o'clock. VAIDEN WESLEY EMORY, husband of Mrs. Mary 
Ellsworth Emory and son of the late Macon Nathaniel and India Rebecca Johnson 
Emory, aged 70 years. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Home, 
631 Westover avenue, corner Manteo street, THIS (Monday) AFTERNOON, at 1 o'clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
