Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 18, 1923 

ENNIS - At a local hospital, Saturday morning, February 17, 1923, at 5:20 
o'clock, HAZEL FRANKLIN, beloved wife of B.W. Ennis, aged 25 years.
Funeral services from the funeral home of H.C. Smith Co., 346 West Twelfth 
Street, corner Moran Avenue MONDAY MORNING, February 19, at 11 o'clock.  Friends 
of the family invited to attend.  Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Hazel Franklin Ennis - Funeral services of Mrs. Ennis were conducted at 11 
o'clock yesterday morning at the funeral apartments of H.C. Smith Company, 346 
West Twelfth Street.  The services were largely attended and there were numerous 
floral offerings.  The services were conducted by the Rev. W.H. Garman, of Zion 
Christian Church.  Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.

Another obit states she is survived by her husband, her mother and five brothers 
and one sister, Ethel Franklin of Norfolk. A brother, Clifton Franklin in 
Washington D.C. is named but other names are missing.
