Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 5,1963
Norfolk - Rufus Epps, 70, of 749 Avenue C, received final rites Thursday at 
Graves Funeral Home.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  The Rev. E. A. Wilson 
officiated.

Mr. Epps. who died Sept. 29, was a native of Sussex County.  He was a member of 
New Calvary Baptist Church.

The deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Vernice Clark;  and three sisters, 
Mrs. Alice Reed, Mrs. Georgia Cuffee and Mrs. Minnie Mitchell.  All are Norfolk 
residents.
