Norfolk Journal and Guide,Saturday,Jan 2,1942
Funeral services for Waverly Epps, 37, 1013 Tyler street, who died in a local
hospital December 21, were held at Hale's Chapel December 27. Elder E. W.
Williams officiated. Mr. Epps was born in Pennsylvania and had lived here 10
years. One son survives. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
