Norfolk - Miss Lucille D. Epps of 937 Mariner St. died Saturday, August 3, in 
the home of a sister, Mrs. Pauline E. Lloyd of 25 W. Taylor Ave., Hampton.

A native of Norfolk, she was a member of Metropolitan AME Zion Church.

Besides Mrs. Lloyd, survivors include two other sisters, Mrs. Azerine D. Gregory 
of the Bronx NY, and Mrs. Flossie B. Hardy of Norfolk; three brothers, William 
H. Epps of Brooklyn, Richard H. Epps of the Bronx, and the Rev. St. Paul Epps of 
Teaneck, NJ, and her mother, Mrs. Azerine V. Epps of Hampton.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, August 7, in Metropolitan AME Zion Church 
by Dr. Richard A. Councill. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Smith Brothers 
Funeral Home, Hampton, had charge of arrangements.
