Norfolk - Clifton Thomas Epps Sr., 50, Negro, Post Office letter carrier in the
city the last 17 years, died Monday at 9:15 p.m. in a Norfolk hospital after an
illness of four months.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa L. Epps; one son, Clifton T. Epps Jr.; two
grandchildren, five brothers and two sisters.

The body was removed to the Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be
conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of God in Christ, on Goff street.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
