Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 27, 1939

Jose Esteves - Funeral services for Mr. Esteves were conducted at St. Mary's 
Catholic Church yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Father F.V. Bambrick. There 
was a large attendance and many flowers, the casket being covered with a pall of 
pink snapdragons and carnations.
Pallbearers were Robert Frier, Frank DeCosta, Antonio Fernandez, Leon Peres, Jose 
Rinera and Arthur Azevedeo. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
