Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday January 14, 1945
Mrs. Joanna Frances Etheridge, 86, died last night at 8:15 o'clock at the 
residence of her daughter, Mrs. N.J Bray, Dozier's Corner, Norfolk County, after 
an illness of two weeks.  A lifelong resident of Norfolk County, a daughter of the 
late Lemuel Jennings and Ellen Fulford Pritchard and widow of Thomas Etheridge.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Bray, she is survived by a second daughter, Mrs. 
Gussie E. Berry, of Norfolk; a son, T.C. Etheredge, of Princess Anne; nine 
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where funeral 
services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Burial will be in the 
family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
