Etheredge, wife of Major Wm. H. Etheredge, departed this life in the 76th year of her age. Mrs. Etheredge had been a resident of this county for a number of years and on account of her gentle, Christian character, had won for herself a host of friends, to whom her death will be a shock. The funeral will take place from her late residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock and the remains laid to rest in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend. ********************************************************* The funeral of the late Mrs. Sarah A. Etheredge, who died Friday at her home near Oak Grove Church, in the county, took place from the home yesterday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Foushee, pastor of Oak Grove M.E. Church, conducted the services. The interment was made in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley. A large concourse of friends of the deceased were at the services to pay their last tribute of respect.
